Nokia has launched the low ended version of X series phone Nokia X2 in Indian market. Nokia X2 is a medium range phone with 2.2 inch colour display. Dedicated keys make fast and smooth operation of camera and music player. The phone is based on S 40 operating system. Other standard features include Bluetooth, GPRS/EDGE connectivity, Calender, Organizer, Calculator, Voice recorder, FM radio, Video player, Video recorder etc.
The main attraction of Nokia X2 is the 5 Mega pixel camera with LED flash, which is not available in the phones of similar or high ended mobiles. Nokia BL 4 C 860 mAh battery offers 810 minutes talk time and 540 Hours standby time.
48 MB internal memory is extendable up to 16 GB through micro SD card. The phone can be charged through USB also. The Adobe FlashLite 3.0 supported web browser allows full page browsing and video streaming.
The advanced contacts database supports multiple phone and email details per entry and thumbnail pictures. Two colour options are available Black/Red and Silver/ Blue.
The downside is, X2 doesn’t support 3G networks. The phone is priced Rs 5999/- in India.
