Interestingly, Dell has come up with a special edition as an addition to its Inspiron 15R line-up introduced this summer. As a matter of fact the 15.6-inch Alloy Edition is unique in offering a silver, laser-etched wave design in aluminum on the exterior of the lid, along with a matching palm rest. Not to mention, its technical specs are similar to other 15R models and include a choice of Core i3, Core i5 or Core i7 Intel CPUs.
What it actually facilitates is a vivid range of choice, as much as 8GB of RAM, a 750GB hard drive and either integrated Intel or ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 graphics. Let me tell you, the glossy screen has a resolution of 1366×768, and there is an HDMI and VGA ports for connecting exterior displays. The features this gadget boast on happens to be a 1.3-megapixel camera, three USB ports, a 7-in-1 card reader and an eSATA/USB combo port. A nine-cell battery is optional. No news on the price and release dates are available as yet.
