BSNL has doubled the bandwidth of Unlimited Plans

BSNL has doubled the bandwidth of unlimited plans. Now unlimited 750 Home plans give 1 Mbps upto 6 GB and 512 Kbps beyond 6 GB (Earlier it was flat 512 Kbps).BB Home Combo ULD 900 plan gives 4 Mbps upto 8 GB and 512 Kbps beyond that (earlier it was 256 Kbps). If you are not a heavy downloader- BB Home ULD 499 (Rs 499/- Per month) is a better plan which gives 512 Kbps upto 4 GB and 256 Kbps after 4 GB.  You will not get such a good bargain from any other ISP in India.

BSNL is mainly blamed for poor customer service, but now I think the things are improving. I was using 3G networks in my new location, but poor network, high latency, frequent disconnection etc compelled me to go for a broadband connection. I  applied online through this form. Very next day  BSNL representative called me to collect more information. Address proof , Rs 500/-  and few signatures- My new telephone and broadband connection got activated within five days.
