iPhone-4 offcially released- Features, availability and price.

Apple has officially released the much awaited version of  their prestigious smart phone iPhone-4. This is the advanced version of iPhone 3G/3GS with around 100 additional features including video calling.

The Retina display of iPhone 4 claims to offer sharp, vibrant and high resolution images with four times the pixel count of iPhone 3G/3GS. Apple says it can cheat the retina of human eyes to distinguish the individual pixels- means crystal clear images.

The multi tasking feature includes smooth running of multiple third party application without affecting the system performance and battery drain.

The advanced illumination sensor and LED flash positioned at the back side of iPhone 4 enable video capture in low light conditions. With the upcoming  iMovie application, you can edit the video clipping to make a movie with transition and added effects.

Five mega pixel camera cannot be projected as an advanced feature, since it is a common feature of almost in all branded smart phones. The front face camera enable self portrait photography.

The iPhone-4 is powered by Apple A4 processor. Other technological improvements include the advanced 3 Axis Gyro for better position detection and Dual mic Noice supression. This new version iPhone provides an extended 2 hrs talk time than its  predecessors.

Availability and price

Presently the iPhone 4 will be available only in five countries( US, France, Germany, United Kingdom and Japan) and will be available in 88 countries by September . The US iPhone is carrier locked to AT&T. It can be used on any GSM network using AT&T international roaming

In US, Iphone-4 will be marketed by AT&T beginning from June 24. Customers can start placing  orders from Jun 15.
